SGG EGLAS® is an insulating glass or single laminated glass with one electrically heated pane. The technology is based on a low-emissivity glass with electrical conductivity.  The conductive coating is connected to an electricity supply cable via electrodes. When the electrical power is switched on the SGG EGLAS® starts to warm up.  The sealant barriers of the insulating glass are made of materials that withstand the cumulative effects of the heating function and climatic stresses.

SGG EGLAS® is compatible with most frames for windows and facades.

• Installation
SGG EGLAS® is installed as a conventional insulating glass. To heat the interior of a room, the heatable coating is on face 3.

• Electrical connection
The glasses are to be connected according to the electrical plan supplied by the manufacturer.
Transformers can be used to alter the supply voltage.

• Temperature regulation
If needed the temperature of the SGG EGLAS® surface can be regulated from 0 up to 60 º by a window thermostat.  SGG EGLAS® can be controlled in zones using wireless controls and thermostats so you are only heating the areas you need to and not wasting money heating unused space.
